Welcome to HKUST AI Seminar, a series of talks given by experts from across the country related to different areas of artificial intelligence.

- Target Audience/ Prerequisites: This is a graduate course primarily for graduate students.
- Grading will be based on attendance. You will need to maintain an attendance rate above 80% to receive a passing grade for each course. If not, you will be asked to write an essay of at least 6 pages (double-column) about one of the speaker's work to get a passing grade. This grading policy is similar to that of LTI Colloquium @CMU.
- How to measure attendance: Before each lecture, please sign your name on any one of the sheet to be counted. If you are joining via Zoom, you must turn on your camera to be counted. We will record the list of Zoom participants at the end of the lecture. Only five Zoom attendances are allowed for each course, as this is primarily an in-person course. You can find the Zoom link in the internal posters on Canvas. Here, we provide the public-facing Bilibili links. We don't have quizzes after each lecture, yet.
- Bonus lectures: there are occasionally some awesome speakers that could not come during the course scheduled times. If you attend these lectures, and would like to be counted towards any one of the course attendance, let me know during that lecture.
- Slides will be available in the links below if the speaker allows.
- Please refer to the poster for the locations of each lecture. You can ask questions about the course on Canvas. You are encouraged to attend both dates. We have invited top experts in their respective fields!
